CIY Believe is a youth retreat for 6-8th graders that will be held in Atlanta, Georgia from March 15th-17th.
Transportation and lodging is covered, so the cost of the trip is $59 (early bird pricing if registered before 2/15), and 4 meals on the road, plus spending money. After 2/15, the price of a ticket is $69.

We are almost done getting the Nativity completely put away! After several weeks of rain, we finally have a dry spell. Saturday the 12th at 8:00 we will meet at the church to get all the final pieces stored away. Of course, donuts and coffee are provided! Thank you for all of your help!

Our Annual Rooted Youth Lock-In is this New Year’s Eve, starting at 8pm and going until 8am on New Years Day.
We will be traveling off campus this year, so please send $30 (if you can) with each student to help cover the cost of the activities. We are planning on either going to Stars and Strikes or Velocity, and then to the Spiderman movie (PG).

As is our 5th Sunday tradition, we are worshipping as a family on Dec 30th.
The service start time is 10:30 instead of 11am, and there are no Sunday Growth Groups meeting.
There will be no meal, since the Christmas Breakfast is on the 23rd. We hope you can join us for that at 9am!
After Christmas Breakfast, the FCC Kids will be meeting in the Youth Room for their Happy Birthday Jesus Party!
The FCC Kids are collecting diapers for the Lowcountry Pregnancy Center, so if you can, please send a pack of diapers with your child, or place them in the pack-n-play in the Fellowship Hall anytime. Thank you for your generosity!
Parents, check-in and pick-up will be in the Youth Room.
Experience the Christmas Story with our drive-thru dramatic telling. This is a free event, and you never have to leave your car. Load up the family with some hot chocolate and journey through Bethlehem to learn about Jesus and what Christmas is all about!

On Wednesday November 7th and November 14th we will be having a special Bible Study focusing on the role of politics in a Christian’s life, and what the Bible has to say about it. Join us for prayer for our newly elected leaders and our country, and to hear God’s word for our lives in today’s political climate.
The Lowcountry Pregnancy Center’s annual Walk for Life fundraiser is November 3rd at Wannamaker County Park. The walk is free, and stroller and dog friendly, so bring the whole family! It starts at 10am, and is on a 2 mile long paved walk through the park. If you would like to register (free), or donate, go to our church’s team page.
The annual Living Nativity is December 7th and 8th. If you are interested in participating, the first cast meeting will be held Sunday October 28th after church. No experience is necessary, and there are lots of ways to be involved besides speaking parts.
